Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy explains what information Velica Capital ("Velica", "we", "us") collects when you visit velicacapital.com or submit an application, how we use it, who we share it with, and the rights you have over it. 1. Eligibility Check and Website Information

Funding applications are not open yet. The eligibility check uses business location, business age, average monthly revenue and an estimated credit score only in the current browser page. It does not ask for your name, phone or email, access your credit report, send the answers to our servers or a provider, or save them in browser storage. Reloading clears the check. Our hosting provider may process ordinary request information, such as IP address and requested page, to operate and protect the website.

2. Contact Messages

If you separately contact us through our support form or email, we receive the name, email address, subject and message you provide. We use that information to respond and operate the service. Please do not send Social Security numbers, account credentials, bank statements or other financial documents. Support messages are distinct from the eligibility check and may be retained in our mailbox.

3. Service Providers and Sharing

Vercel hosts the website and processes ordinary hosting logs. Resend delivers contact-form messages to our business mailbox. The eligibility check does not forward data to a funding provider, email or spreadsheet. Any future funding intake will identify the receiving provider and present its privacy and contact terms before collection. A provider may retain and share information under its own policy. We may also disclose information where required by law or necessary to address fraud or security incidents.

4. Analytics and Cookies

Google Analytics and the optional Vercel analytics and performance scripts are paused on this website. The eligibility check does not send analytics events or answers. Existing cookies from earlier visits may remain until they expire or you clear them through your browser. Hosting services can still process technical request information. We are not running advertising pixels in this version of the site.

5. Existing Records and Retention

The current eligibility check creates no stored application record. The earlier application form could deliver information by email and copy it to a Google-hosted spreadsheet. This website update does not delete historical records. Information previously provided remains subject to the retention policy applicable when it was collected, including the previously stated 24-month application retention period. Support messages are retained for up to 12 months, with longer retention where required for legal obligations or disputes. You can request access, correction or deletion using the contact details below.

6. Protecting Information

We use HTTPS for the website and limit access to systems used for business communications. No transmission or storage system can guarantee complete security. Never include financial account credentials or other sensitive documents in a support message.

7. Your California Privacy Rights (CCPA / CPRA)

If you are a California resident, the California Consumer Privacy Act, as amended by the California Privacy Rights Act, gives you the following rights regarding your personal information:

• Right to know: what personal information we have collected about you, the categories of sources, the purposes for collecting it, and the categories of third parties we have shared it with in the prior 12 months.
• Right to delete: ask us to delete the personal information we have collected from you, subject to legal exceptions (for example, completing a transaction you requested, or complying with a legal obligation).
• Right to correct: ask us to correct inaccurate personal information.
• Right to opt out of sale or sharing: direct us not to sell or share your personal information. We do not sell personal information for money, and we do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising. If that ever changes, you will see a clearly-labeled opt-out link here.
• Right to limit use of sensitive personal information: we do not knowingly collect categories of sensitive personal information (such as Social Security number, precise geolocation, or financial account credentials) through this site.

We will verify your identity (typically by confirming you control the email address tied to the application) and respond within 45 days, with a possible 45-day extension if needed. 8. Children

This site is intended for business owners and is not directed to children under 16. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 16. If you believe we have, email us and we will delete it.

9. Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy when our practices change or when the law changes. The "Last updated" date at the top of this page reflects the most recent change. Material changes will be announced at the top of this page for a reasonable period.
